About Us
The Local Sounds started as an answer to the question "Who's playing tonight" and has evolved into a mission to Unite Louisville's music scene. The Local Sounds is owned and operated by 4 Louisvillian’s that share a passion for Louisville and it’s Music. We aren’t here to compete but to unite and strengthen Louisville’s music scene.
Our Mission is to unite the Louisville Music Scene. The Local Sounds has been born in an industry that is ready to boom. As more Americans face financial stress they will seek new forms of cheap entertainment and social outlet. As the movie industry boomed during the Great Depression the music industry will explode as our current national financial situation unfolds. The Local Sounds will be the North Star for those looking for an escape from the daily grief brought on by our current economy and will be the broker for investors looking for low risk options.

Compass (co-conspirator extraordinaire): Compass is responsible for a lot of our research and development. If you have any questions or suggestions about where The Local Sounds is, or should be going, Compass is a good person to talk to. Compass is dedicated to Louisville's music scene and is an aspiring brew master. If you don't already know this man you should. |

Kathy (Business Director): Kathy handles most business related items. She is a loving hard working mother who loves Louisville's music. Kathy adds a lot to The Local Sounds. She keeps us on track when it comes time to do the hard part of this, business. |

Paul, Ava and Aletia Robey: Paul is mainly our web master. He also handles a lot of the research that goes into our articles. Talk to Paul if you want to get something on The Local Sounds or if you have an idea you would like to pursue with The Local Sounds. Aletia: Handles organizational matters and some article content. She ensures that nothing is forgotten during our meetings. More than a secretary, she helps us stay organized. Ava: her job is mainly just to look cute. |

Rudy (Mgmt): Rudy is The Local Sounds managment team. He handles our day to day operations ensuring that things get done in a timely fashion. Contact Rudy for info on advertising or other sales related questions. Rudy is also the guy to talk to about metal or any hard rock genre. |
The Local Sounds is always looking for volunteers for our street team who we use to pass out flyers, take photos, write articles, meet with venues, plant seeds and an assortment of fun activities aimed at uniting the Louisville Music Scene. Interesed volunteers should contact Rudy for details.
